Flower Mound

The next Flower Mound meeting for 2025 will be held on March 19.

The program for this meeting will include our usual Show and Tell, as well as a video demonstrating the American Topical Association’s Virtual Exhibit Program. The video is titled My One-Page Exhibit and will be presented by MCSC President Rick Howell.

APS books will be available. This month's selection includes: Sarawak M/U (#2/#235), US M/U (#36/#656), Portuguese Colonies mostly used (Angola, Agra, Azores, & Cape Verde), Straits Settlement M/U (#10/#271), India (#141/#717, plus several Officials, Reunion & French Polynesia M/U, Canada (#35/#727, plus Air and BOB), and many others. Check it out!

Club Books: recent club book additions include U.S., Norway, Japan, High Value WW, and Mint British Commonwealth 1935-43.

The Arlington spring auction has been moved up to April this year. Small lots can be turned in to Skip at the next Arlington and Flower Mound meetings. Large lots should be kept by the owner until the night of the meeting, but send Skip a description of the lot and minimum bid so they can be advertised ahead of time. This meeting is the last chance to submit items for the auction. Currently there are about 50 lots ready to go.

Meeting

The new meeting place is at 3020 Corporate Ct Ste 400, Flower Mound, TX 75028.

The sign on the office says Step Up Sports Medicine and it is in a corporate park just east of the Texas Health Orthopedic Surgery Building in north Flower Mound. Corporate Court can be accessed from either Long Prairie Road (FM 2499) or College Parkway (via Corporate Drive).

The meeting will begin at 7:30 pm, with the room being available around 7:00 pm.

Meet'N'Eat

Ordinarily when we have an in-person meeting, we also have a MEET'N'EAT at an area restaurant, prior to the meeting. The group usually gathers around 5:30 PM, and we try to finish by 6:45 PM. These gatherings, which had been curtailed due to COVID, are now back:
