October 2
The next Arlington meeting for 2024 will be held on Wednesday, October 2.
There is no program, as this is the time for our Annual Club Picnic, to be held at the regular meeting place around 5-5:30pm. We will begin serving hot dogs around 6:00 P.M. Bring a side dish or dessert. The picnic will be followed by a brief business meeting.
Update: Ken Aldridge advises that the Bob Duncan Center will not open until 6pm. So the restrooms won't be available until then either. Additionally, it may be that only the restrooms and the library will be accessible after 6pm. This will affect after-picnic meeting plans.
Also, we will have our usual round of Show & Tell.
APS Books will be available at the meeting - this month's circuit books include:
US - 19th Century classics, Canada (mostly mint), Cuba (to 1960s), Asia, Memel, Romania (1950s to 1990s), Russia -
(M/U, 1930s to 1950s), Ethiopia, India, and several other countries. Check it out !
